Jon Sampedro


Jon Sampedro Transition to a low carbon economy is a huge challenge, with a quite important number of goals and targets that all the countries are supposed to achieve.
My research will focus on the risks, uncertainties and co-effects related to different mitigation pathways. The analysis will take into account both efficiency and equity.

Short CV

Jon Sampedro is graduated in Business Administration at the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU), having coursed the speciality of "taxation and public administration".
In 2014 he obtained the master's degree "Instrumentos del Análisis Económico" where he could improve his knowledge in the fields of macroeconomics, econometrics or environmental economy.
In order to complete the course, he presented his final project: "cost-efficiency analysis of the climate instruments in Europe"
