Ramon Ortiz holds a PhD in Environmental Economics and MSc in Economics as well as degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
Ramon is currently also a Visiting Fellow at the University of Bath, UK, after being a Research Officer in the Department of Economics and International Development at that university for three years. As a Brazilian national, Ramon has worked with IPEA, the main research institute for applied economics in Brazil, and has also worked as an expert consultant with multilateral organisations such as the World Bank, WWF, UNEP and UNESCO.
