BC3. Basque centre for climate change – Klima aldaketa ikergai

In the framework of our Social Responsibility Strategy, the Basque Government, Ikerbasque and BC3 have united forces to develop the Training Caravan initiative to stir up research vocations within the high school students’ community in the Basque Country.

The objectives of the programme are:

• Approach the research experience to teenagers
• Explain scientific aptitudes
• Dismantle given misconceptions about science
• Encourage the interrelation among researchers and students

During the year 2010 a group of researchers from Ikerbasque BC3 (Basque Center for Climate Change research) are introducing their research experience and professional path in different schools.

The aim is not to be specific about their particular research topic, but to transmit the reasons that led them to pick up the research career.
