Short CV

-Mary received her Ph.D. in geography from the University of South Carolina in 2013. Her research focused on issues of conservation and development in Sub-Saharan Africa.

-Mary has worked with World Bank experts on participatory adaptation fieldwork for the Zambian Pilot Program for Climate Resilience (PPCR) as well as co-authoring a USAID commissioned report on gender and climate change adaptation.

-Her research interests include the complex intersections of agricultural and wild biodiversity conservation, development, and climate change, as well as how issues of gender and identity link with these broader focus areas.

-Her work at BC3 focuses primarily on the role of agrobiodiversity for climate change adaptation
