Short CV

Jon Sampedro is a postdoctoral researcher at the Basque Centre for Climate Change. He holds a PhD in Environmental Economics from the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU) and the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3). His main research interests include Integrated Human-Earth system modelling, Climate-Land-Energy-Water (CLEW) nexus, air pollution, and human health.
In 2014 he obtained the master's degree "Instrumentos del Análisis Económico" where he could improve his knowledge in the fields of macroeconomics, econometrics or environmental economy. In order to complete the course, he presented his final project: "cost-efficiency analysis of the climate instruments in Europe". In 2012 he graduated in Business Administration at the University of the Basque Country (UPV-EHU), having coursed the speciality of "taxation and public administration".
