Short CV

Through my education and work, I have obtained the background in Hydrology, Environmental Science, GIS and Remote Sensing technology and Computer Science, and also gained experiences in projects on environmental modelling of hydrological process and ecosystem services, spatial data processing and analysis, programming, and risk assessment.

I am passionate and interested in working in environmental modelling and geo-spatial analysis. Currently I am part of the ARIES team in the research line of integrated modelling of coupled human-natural systems, particularly in working with hydrological modelling for water-related ecosystem services and its application for climate change adaption (e.g. MENdIA project, which is to develop regional climate models for high mountain environments and analyzing their climate dynamics and interactions between cryospheric features and precipitation patterns), sediment regulation, and flood regulation. I am also working as the technical project coordinator in the project "NBSoil" for nature-based solutions in soil management, and the project "HoliSoil" for soil resilience & recovery capacity after natural disturbance. Apart from the ALICE project, I am also engaged in the NCA project that develops tools for modelling and valuation of ecosystem services for natural capital accounts within the ARtificial Intelligence for Ecosystem Services (ARIES) platform and is now available to public as “ARIES for SEEA”. Meanwhile, I have contributed to the LETICIA project, which integrates data and models for Columbia with four dimensions of sustainability: Biodiversity, Climate, Community and Water.

I am a conscientious, creative and easy-to-communicate person, who likes to cooperate with people and take new challenges. Meanwhile, I have a great passion on serving and helping others with their needs. In my spare time, I like to participate in different kinds of literary activities and mingle with friends.
