Short CV
Jorge holds a BSc and MSc. in Aerospace Engineering from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a postgraduate in International Cooperation to Development and Humanitarian Action from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and a MSc. in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.
After graduating he worked as an analyst in the UN think tank Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) on the production of national, regional and international SDG progress reports, developing the Environmental Impact Index (EII) to measure the countries’ international imprints and in a project with the Inter-American Development Bank developing a sustainable infrastructure impact tool.
He is currently working as a junior researcher in the EU H2020 project Paris Reinforce aimed at engaging stakeholders in the design of decarbonisation pathways aligned with the Paris Agreement with integrated assessment models.
