Short CV

PhD in Economic History (Universitat de Barcelona), Graduate in Environmental Sciences (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona). Postdoctoral researcher at the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3). She did her thesis studying the transition of agriculture and livestock farming during the 20th century in Catalonia. She has been working on the impacts of climate change and its adaptation in dairy farming. Recently, her research focuses on the study of the economic, social and institutional aspects of Basque shepherding systems, including a co-production process with the Artzain Eskola (Shepherd School). Last season she left her academic job to work as a shepherdess in the Pyrenees ( Baxenabarre), with the result of a deep and complex vision of the livestock sector.

She is currently working on nature's values and perceptions with the approach of Oral Environmental History under the framework of LIFE URBASO project.
