Short CV

I did my PhD on wetland engineering at the Universidad de Alcala and the Insituto Pirenaico de Ecologia-CSIC (finished in 2008). Then I spent three years at the University of California at Berkeley, Integrative Biology Department, to gain a better understanding of on basic ecological processes. After that, I was awarded a Jasper Ridge Restoration Fellowship from Stanford University and worked at Stanford's field station for almost two years. Moving back to Europe, I spent one year at the Centre d'Ecologie Fonctionnelle et Evolutive-CNRS in Montpellier. In 2014, I was awarded an Ikerbasque Research Fellowship (tenure-track path) to work at the Basque Centre for CLiamte Change-BC3.
