Short CV

I am passionate about Journalism and Communication, as well as Science, Technology and the Environment. In this way I have gained extensive professional and personal experience: for 13 years I was responsible for the Environment Channel of Eroski's Consumer magazine; in 2014 I was one of the founders of the environment and economy magazine Ballena Blanca; Collaborator in several media such as Muy Interesante, Radio Euskadi, El País, etc., and winner of awards for some of my journalistic work, such as the Euskadi Special Prize for Environmental Journalism.

In my role as researcher, teacher and lecturer, I am a Doctor of Journalism from the UPV / EHU and professor of the Master "Scientific Journalism and Scientific Communication" at UNED since its creation in 2007; I have organized conferences and I have been a lecturer and moderator in many conferences, courses, seminars, etc. about these specialties.

As a communication expert, I have carried out publications, reports and studies for various institutions and companies, such as Ihobe / Basque Government, Fundación Biodiversidad, Unesco, Ecovidrio, FECYT, Tecnalia, etc.

Internet has been essential since my professional beginnings: in 2000 I was one of the creators of the pioneering scientific divulgation website E-ciencia.com, and I am an active user on the main social networks, where I have several thousand followers (@ecienciacom) .
