Fomentar estratégicamente la coproducción de conocimiento relevante para la toma de decisiones, integrando las dimensiones ambientales, socioeconómicas y éticas del cambio climático.

Misión


Queremos aportar nuestras capacidades al desarrollo sostenible, dirigiendo la ciencia del cambio climático hacia la coproducción de nuevos conocimientos y al diseño conjunto de políticas, en colaboración con otras partes interesadas y mediante un enfoque sólido y transdisciplinar.

Highlights

The Low Carbon Programme (joint research initiative between the Basque Center for Climate Change (BC3) and the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU)) offers, within the framework of a collaboration agreement with the BBK Foundation, two grants of 1,500 euros each for the realization of master’s theses on “Green Growth in Bizkaia”.
More than 190 experts met in Bilbao on June 7-14 to begin work on a new Methodology Report to update the guidelines countries use for estimating greenhouse gas emissions and removals, bringing them into line with the new requirements of the 2015 Paris Agreement.
