BC3 winner of 2012 European ICCG Climate Think Tank Ranking
The International Center for Climate Governance (ICCG), is pleased to announce the winners of the 2012 ICCG Climate Think Tank Ranking, the first ranking of think tanks working in the field of climate change economics and policy.
The 2012 ICCG Climate Think Tank Ranking is composed of a Global category and a European category. “Global” refers to think tanks whose headquarters are based outside the EU, and “European” refers to those based in the EU.
The winners are:
- in the European category: the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3), founded in 2008 in Bilbao;
- in the Global category: the Belfer Center for Science and international Affairs, founded in 1973 in Cambridge, MA, USA, with its Environment and Natural Resources Program.

El programa 'Hoy por Hoy Euskadi' se desplazó a Torre Iberdrola para conmemorar el Día Mundial de Medio Ambiente. Azul Tejerina contó para ello con Carmelo Angulo, Responsable del Área Corporativa de medioambiente del grupo IBERDROLA; José Ignacio Ormaetxe, director gerente del Cluster de Energía; Javier Marqués, director de Energías Renovables y desarrollo tecnológico del EVE; e Ibon Galarraga, investigador del BC3, Basque Centre for Climate Change y profesor de la UPV
