Short CV

I have published 37 peer-reviewed manuscripts and 1 online-manuscript (wikiprotocols) in Plant Science, Forestry and Food Science. In 47% of them I acted as first author and corresponding author. Mean ISI impact factor: 3.22 (10 articles with IF>3.5); accumulative impact factor of 115; articles Q1=70%; H-index: 17; Citations: 808). 9 book chapters: 4 national and 5 international. I have contributed 82 presentations at national and international conferences (9 proceeding, 16 oral communications, 1 invited communication). I have actively participated in 27 research projects, being the principal investigator of 1 of them. Member of the editorial board of Frontiers in Plant Science (IF=4.49). High international activity with experience in outstanding international institutions: Forschungszentrum Jülich, University of Minnesota and Italian National Research Council. Member of the EuroCaroten COST action network. I have also edited an e-book in this journal. I have reviewed manuscripts for more than 19 high-impact journals journals. Teaching/supervision of 2 post-docs, 4 PhD students (1 completed, 3 at the end of 2020), 15 MSc students and 4-grade dissertations. Reviewer and panel member of 3 thesis defence. 136 teaching hours at University (biology, pharmacy, environmental science and medicine degree) Participated in 3 University Summer Courses and I have given lectures in several other Universities both national and international (Universidad de La Laguna, UNAN...). Nowadays I am a researcher at Basque Center for Climate Change
