As an early-career scientist specializing in taxonomy and molecular ecology, my research focuses on understanding the current distribution and phylogenetic relationships of western Palaearctic fauna. I also strive to unravel the genetic foundations of niche evolution, speciation, and local adaptation. Moreover, I'm passionate about applying this knowledge to advance conservation efforts, employing genomic biomonitoring. Beyond studying the diversification of invertebrates at the genomic level, I delve into the intricate world of honey-bee gut microbiota, contributing to our understanding of the interactions between invertebrates and microorganism and their impact on ecosystems. This multidisciplinary approach guides the development of effecting conservation strategies for the protection of threatened species and ecosystems.
